CITRONS ET ORANGE

Citrons et orange by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. This vintage 1913 piece by French artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir, reflects vibrant light and saturated colour tones playing off the yellows and oranges of the fruit. Renoir was known for his soft Impressionist style using quick, free, fluid strokes of paint that can be seen through this warm still life piece.  Citrons et orange is an enhanced version of the original painting which is currently stored within The Barnes Foundation Collection.
