FLOÉAL PL. 7

Floréal Pl. 7 by Emile-Allain Séguy. Created by 20th-century French artist, Emile-Allain Séguy, this beautiful art deco, and art nouveau vintage 1925 pattern is part of his seventh plate within a collection containing 20 illustrated plates with semi-abstract motifs inspired by nature titled Floreal: New Designs and Colors. 

The design consists a thin, long blue vase, holding a bundle of stylised yellow, purple and red flowers with leaves, coloured with dark green sitting on a cream and light brown lozenges pattern background. Floréal Pl. 7 is an enhanced version of the original design which is currently stored within The Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection
