This vintage 1940 piece by Swiss-born German artist Paul Klee reflects his childlike perspective with the polychromatic colour palette to the grid format composition within the painting. The Hour Before One Night is an enhanced version of the original Klee painting which is currently stored within The Metropolitan Museum of Art Collection
